Minor Bay Travel Itinerary – 4-day Fishing Trip
Day 1
Day 2
Day 4 and 5
- Travel from home to Saskatoon, SK.
- Overnight at the Saskatoon Inn
Day 2
- Depart Saskatoon Inn @ 5:30 AM to catch the Minor Bay charter
- Arrive at Points North Landing at approximately 8:00 AM
- Arrive Minor Bay Lodge at approximately 9:45 AM
- After a hearty hot breakfast and a short orientation guests go to their cabins to meet their guides and get ready for fishing
- Stop at the store / tackle shop on the way to the dock to obtain your fishing licence, beverages for the day and any tackle, etc. you may require
- Prior to noon depart the dock for the first day’s fishing
- Shore dinner is served around 6:00 PM
- Return to the lodge at about 8:00 PM
- For outpost guests, after breakfast you and your gear are flown into one of our remote outpost camps. A satellite phone is provided to communicate with the main lodge
- Breakfast is served in the lodge at 7:00 AM
- Guides are ready to depart the dock any time after 7:30 AM
- Full day of fishing with shore lunch on the water
- Return to the dock between 5:00 & 5:30 PM
- Appetizers are served in the lounge at 6:30 PM
- Dinner is served at 7:00 PM
- Guest lounge closes for the evening at 11:00 PM
Day 4 and 5
- Repeat of day 3
- Guests may opt to do an optional daily fly out trip to one of our remote lakes
- Breakfast is served at 6:30 AM
- Bus departs the lodge between 7:15 & 7:30 AM for Points North Landing
- Charter aircraft arrives at Points North at about 8:15 AM
- Charter arrives in Saskatoon at about 11:00 AM
- Northwest Airlines flight to Minneapolis departs Saskatoon at about 2:00 PM
